This item is an antique Louis XV-style dressing-table mirror made in gilded bronze.

Dating generally from the late 19th century or the early 20th century (around 1900-1920), this psyché vanity or dressing-table mirror is characterized by:

• A richly carved oval frame with reliefs of floral motifs (notably roses and foliage).
• Animal details, with two birds carved and perched on the branches on either side of the mirror.
• A worked base with a small dish, whose flared base integrates a small curved receptacle in the center, ideal for placing rings, brooches or small jewelry.

Cet objet est un miroir de table ancien de style Louis XV réalisé en bronze doré.

Datant généralement de la fin du XIXe siècle ou du début du XXe siècle (autour de 1900-1920), ce miroir de courtoisie psyché ou de coiffeuse se caractérise par :

• Un cadre ovale pivotant richement sculpté de reliefs floraux (notamment des roses et des feuillages).
• Des détails animaliers, avec deux oiseaux sculptés et posés sur les branchages de chaque côté du miroir.
• Un piètement travaillé avec coupelle, dont la base évasée intègre un petit réceptacle incurvé au centre, idéal pour y déposer des bagues, broches ou petits bijoux.
