The Siemens RC-400 cassette deck, produced between 1997 and 1999, is tested and working and in excellent condition.
Description from the seller
The Siemens RC 400 is a cassette tape deck that was produced between 1997 and 1999 as part of a compact hi-fi line called the "Selected Edition."
Although the unit bears the Siemens brand name, it is, in fact, an OEM design manufactured by Grundig—a company with which Siemens had close ties at the time.
Key features:
• Unique design: The deck is part of a designer audio system and stands out due to its low-profile, compact build and a silver-and-green metallic aluminum front panel.
• Loading mechanism: Instead of a traditional cassette door, it features a horizontal slide-in or drawer-style loading system (similar to a CD player)—a design that enthusiasts today still consider to have a unique aesthetic.
• Matching components: Within the "Selected Edition" series, this tape deck was frequently paired with the Siemens RV 420 (amplifier) and the Siemens RA 400 (CD player).
These are the full technical specifications for the Siemens RC 400 cassette tape deck (Selected Edition):
