Description from the seller
Iconic Benjamin Ikea stool. The stool has been manufactured since the end of the last century. It is a design by Lisa Norinder. This stool is 45 cm high, 50 cm wide and 35 cm deep, with a weight of about 3 kg.
The stool is made of bent plywood (birch). It remains 100% stable. However, the wood, especially the top panel, shows signs of use. The top layer of the birch plywood also has small cracks all over; you can see that on many Benjamins that have been heavily used (see photos). All in all, it is a neat stool with a very beautiful Scandinavian look, and it is 100% functional.
This Benjamin stool is a still 100% stable multifunctional piece of furniture, usable as a stool, side table, or pedestal (see photos).
Lisa Norinder is now an internationally renowned designer. She studied at design schools, and in 1998 she earned her Masters of Art in Furniture at the Royal College of Art. She has designed for Habitat, Ikea and Palliser Furniture.
This stool is carefully packed and shipped insured.
