Description from the seller
I propose a rare Lenco L75 with a plinth marked Farfisa, acronym of Fabbriche Riunite di Fisarmoniche, a historic Italian brand founded in 1946 in Camerano (AN). This Farfisa TT-300 is a vintage stereo turntable produced in collaboration with Lenco Italia in 1960.
Although Farfisa is universally known for its electronic organs (such as the Compact line or VIP models) and its accordions, during the 1960s it expanded its production into high-fidelity and home audio reproduction systems. Farfisa began in the early 60s a collaboration with Lenco Italia, which, as many know, had the factory in nearby Osimo (AN). The model I propose has the classic Lenco plinth marked Farfisa, the platter is metal Made in Switzerland, and it belongs to the early 60s. This Lenco L75 has the straight arm with a counterweight and anti-skating on a thread with a weight. This arm historically suffers from degradation of the V-block bearings in rubber/plastic interior, which tend to crumble over the years, compromising tracking, and the original rubber pulley may have hardened or deformed, creating noise (rumble). The Lenco L75 you see in the photos has new V-blocks and pulley, which is why the turntable in question is utterly silent. The dust cover is NEW and the stylus is used but perfectly functioning. The distinctive feature that makes the Lenco L75 still an absolute cult object among audiophiles and DIY enthusiasts is the idler-drive system paired with an incredibly heavy platter. This design gives it dynamic range, robust bass, and a sense of rhythm (the so-called PRaT: Pace, Rhythm and Timing) that surpasses many modern belt-driven turntables. The mass is inserted with a link on the output bushing and on the same receptacle where both RCA cables are soldered.
The Lenco L75 Farfisa will be meticulously packed and shipped insured. Please study all the photos carefully to avoid misunderstandings.
