Meissen - Tray - Porcelain

This porcelain tray features flowing, slightly undulating edges and delicate curves, a design often found in the classic Meissen series “Großer Ausschnitt” (designed by Ludwig Zepner in the 1970s) or in other artistic series of irregular plates similar in style.

The plate employs a unique underglaze technique or delicate shading (Bokashi / in blue and gray-blue tones reminiscent of ink or fluid brushstrokes) to delineate abstract, dynamic horses or zodiac themes/stylized images, with fluid brushstrokes and a strong sense of modern art.
