Description from the seller
Refined and elegant set consisting of 6 wine glasses in mouth-blown French crystal and finely hand-cut, dating from the full Art Deco period (1920s-1930s).
The Cup: Features a refined manual faceting with grooves and petals overlapping (côtes plates / taille à pétales). The deep engravings create a suggestive bloom design that captures and refracts light with great brilliance.
The Stem and Base: The tall, slender stem is worked with flat facets in hexagonal cross-section, harmoniously connecting the cup with the circular base, ensuring a firm grip and a striking formal elegance.
The glasses are a classic example of high-end French glassmaking from the early twentieth century. Since these pieces date before 1936, they do not bear engraved signatures, as the era’s production only involved the application of paper labels.
The set presents in excellent conservational condition, free of chips, cracks, or clouding of the crystal. The sound is clear, long, and deep.
Height: 18.5 cm Diameter of mouth: about 5.5 cm Diameter of base: 6.5 cm
Professional multi-layer reinforced packaging and traceable shipping with express courier.
