This French Louis XV-style cabinet from 1950–1960 has a solid oak structure, bois de rose veneer with maple floral details, bronze fittings and two drawers.
Description from the seller
Refined French small cabinet in Louis XV style from the mid-20th century, built on a solid oak frame and enhanced by an elegant bois de rose veneer.
The panels feature a rich lozenge-shaped decoration with small floral motifs in maple wood. The cabinet is characterized by a substantial presence of bronze moldings: the pierced upper band that acts as a containment crown and prevents objects from slipping. The upper moldings run along the sides, while the lower ones protect the feet and stabilize the veneer over time. Equipped with two drawers whose guides are flawless, allowing them to glide smoothly.
