Description from the seller
For sale, a true icon of Mid-Century design: the desk lamp model "Senior", designed by the famous Dutch architect and designer Louis Kalff for Philips in the 1950s. This rare model is distinguished by its elegant black lacquered UFO-shaped lampshade, adorned with its characteristic concentric ventilation slots that project a magnificent light effect onto the ceiling. The stem and central mast are in bright chrome metal.

• Electricity: Perfectly functional, equipped with its original wiring and switch. E27 socket.
• Bonus: Sold with its bulb with a silver mirrored cap, indispensable to respect the indirect lighting design conceived by Kalff.
• Dimensions: Height approx. 52 cm | Shade diameter approx. 40 cm.
Ideal for modernist, Space Age or Scandinavian decor. Very careful and secure shipping possible.
