Description from the seller

Elegant Neoclassical Louis XVI Console – Antique Green & Gilded – Unique Piece with Aristocratic Character
Here is a true interior jewel: a console with perfect proportions and unmistakable presence, as if it had sprung from a Parisian drawing room at the end of the eighteenth century or from an elegant European residence of the nineteenth century.

The top is noble wood in a honey-gold tone, with delicately cut corners, contrasting magnificently with the calfskin-finished apron painted in a deep green-blue (antique green / faux-marble), divided into geometrically pure panels. The fluted, slender legs, impeccably elegant, terminate in small feet and are crowned by carved corner blocks with open flowers (anemones) in relief, fully gilded. The front apron showcases gilded scrolls and ornaments of great delicacy, giving movement and luxury to the piece.

The combination of the sophisticated green with aged gold creates an absolutely seductive play of light and shadow — a piece that “illuminates” any corner, whether in an entrance hall, beside a sofa, or as a favored console in a contemporary living room. The contrast between the warm wood of the top and the cold sophistication of green + gold makes it extremely versatile and current, despite its deeply classical soul.

Dimensions: Height 70 cm | Width 63 cm | Depth 33.5 cm
Weight: only 5.5 kg (easy to place and rearrange)

This is not just a table. It is a object of desire, a signature of good taste, a piece that tells stories of candlelit salons and interiors where beauty was law. Rare in its color combination and in the quality of sculpture and gilding work. A unique opportunity to bring home a touch of grand French elegance.

Overall condition very good, with patina and natural wear that only time and real use can give — exactly what true connoisseurs look for.

A standout piece. A piece to be loved. A piece to be cherished.
