Leica IIIc + Summitar 1:2/5cm lens Rangefinder camera

Leica IIIc 35mm rangefinder camera from Ernst Leitz Wetzlar, Germany, with original Ernst Leitz Wetzlar Summitar 1:2/5cm lens in Leica screw-thread/LTM mount.

The camera has serial number 490497 and the lens has serial number 939105. A beautiful classic Leica set with the characteristic chrome/black finish, separate viewfinder and rangefinder windows and the renowned folding Summitar 5cm f/2 lens.

The camera has been film-tested and found to work at all shutter speeds. Shutter, film transport, rewind and operation function well. The lens focuses smoothly and the diaphragm works correctly. The glass is nicely clean.

Appearance-wise the set is in neat used condition with normal signs of age and use: light scratches, patina and some wear on the metal parts. The bottom plate shows visible remnants/wear from an old sticker. The camera has a lovely authentic look without losing its collectible value.
