AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Description:
Gorgeous and imposing vintage INNO-HIT Model 1427 multiband receiver, a classic "World Receiver" dating from the 1970s. The device stands out for a fascinating fold-down top panel that reveals the world time zone map and a rotating clock disc for calculating global time zones.
The radio is equipped with a full multiband selector including AM, FM, shortwave (SW1, SW2), citizen band (CB), police, aviation and weather. Esthetically, it presents itself in excellent overall condition; the chassis and finishes are intact.
Conditions and operation:
• Integrity: Excellent, the unit is structurally solid and aesthetically well-preserved, with normal signs of wear.
• Operation: The radio has been tested and works on FM; on the other bands the radio seems to receive the signal correctly, but due to a lack of broadcasts here in Italy I cannot guarantee.
• Antenna notes: The unit carries a dual telescopic antenna, both of which are intact. For maximum accuracy, note that one of the two antennas does not extend fully (a small initial segment remains inside the housing); however, a substantial portion still protrudes and allows regular signal reception without compromising functionality.
Dimensions and weight:
• Dimensions (approx.): 34 cm (Width) x 30 cm (Height with panel closed) x 13 cm (Depth) (Note: height reaches about 42 cm with the top panel raised).
• Weight: About 3.5 kg (without batteries).
A perfect lot for collectors of vintage electronics or lovers of vintage design and Space Age/Industrial style.
