Bread basket - Alloy - Deluxe centerpiece

Splendid and elegant oval centerpiece with a lobed edge, made around the middle of the last century (circa 1950).
The piece is characterized by a fully hammered, hand-beaten surface finish, previously used as a bread holder or even a fruit holder.
In deluxe Baroque style, the centerpiece is made of 95% pewter, as indicated by the mark impressed on the bottom, a special copper-tin alloy that, thanks to its luster, resembles silver.
A centerpiece suitable to embellish a stylish and refined table, especially on the occasion of an important dinner.
