Coffee set for 10 (26) - Porcelain

Spectacular and complete vintage tea and coffee service in Japanese porcelain Satsuma style, known as Dragonware or Moriage. The entire set features an exceptionally rich hand-painted relief (Moriage technique), illustrating the traditional theme of the Thousand Faces of Immortals (Arhats) haloed and imperial dragons surrounded by mystical clouds. The service pieces are distinguished by handles and spouts sculpted as dragon heads in relief with fine gold, with matching lid handles.
