This French Art Nouveau ceiling lamp, model Modernista, is made of brass and features geometric green and amber stained glass, with two cracked panes.
Description from the seller
This attractive ceiling lamp from the second half of the 20th century presents a geometric design inspired by architectural lanterns and by the luminous decoration of modernist taste. Its stepped polygonal structure, made of metal profile with an aged gold finish, shapes a volume of marked sculptural presence that combines inclined planes and faceted surfaces, bringing dynamism and elegance to the whole.
The shade is composed of numerous panels of transparent glass and textured crystal in green and amber tones, symmetrically arranged to create interesting plays of light and color. The combination of different textures allows the lighting to be warm and decorative, projecting soft reflections that highlight the geometric richness of the piece.
The structure preserves an attractive patina acquired over time, in keeping with its vintage character. It should be noted that two of the crystals have cracks, a circumstance that is visible but does not impair its decorative value nor significantly alter the overall aesthetics of the lamp, maintaining intact the charm and personality inherent to this type of historic luminaires.
Due to its versatile design and its strong ornamental presence, it is especially suitable for reception areas, corridors, galleries, enclosed porches, or interiors with classic, eclectic, or retro inspiration. A singular piece that combines functionality and decorative interest, standing out for the beauty of its colored glass and for the visual richness of its architectural structure.
Certified shipping and good packaging.
