The compact, fully manual model 35 camera was made in Singapore and is tested and working.
Description from the seller
The original version, introduced in 1966, featured a 40mm f/3.5 Carl Zeiss Tessar lens and a compact metal construction. Without a light meter, it was a fully manual camera, requiring an external exposure meter or manual calculation of the settings. This model quickly became famous for its portability, image quality, and the innovative pocketable design.
This was produced at the Singapore factory.
Production period: Gradually started in 1971 and moved entirely to Singapore from 1972 until the factory closed in 1981
• Construction differences: Compared to the German models, the Singapore versions show some variations in mechanical details (such as the viewfinder window slightly wider and the meter/feet scale arrangement on the lens barrel), but they maintain the same overall build quality and mechanical reliability.
