Description from the seller
Large vintage stock pot with lid – diameter 50 cm, height 35 cm
A piece with great presence, possessing the authentic charm of kitchens of yesteryear. This imposing metal stock pot, with the look of aluminum, captivates with its generous dimensions, its essential beauty and a construction that conveys solidity: wide body, side handles with riveted fittings, and a lid with a central knob.
An object that tells of an era when utensils were designed to last, with simple, concrete shapes, without concessions to trends. The lived surface, the matte reflections and signs of use give it a character that a new item would hardly be able to reproduce.
An unusually rare specimen to find complete with its own lid and in this notably substantial format. Its interest lies precisely in the whole: proportions, construction details and the patina of time. A piece capable of drawing attention in a collection of vintage utensils, in a rustic kitchen or in the setup of a venue.
It presents evident scratches, stains, irregularities and signs of time, visible in the photographs, to be considered part of its condition and lived appearance. Its suitability for food contact has not been verified.
Dimensions: diameter 50 cm × height 35 cm.
