Description from the seller
This is a North American B-25 C Mitchell from the Franklin Mint Armour Collection. It is an iconic rendition of the so-called "Dragon Face," used by the USAAF 405th Bomb Squadron, 38th Bomb Group in the Pacific theater during WWII. These heavily armed Mitchells were deployed on the so-called "strafe runs," missions flown at extremely low altitude against IJN ships, including in New Guinea.
This model is highly sought after due to the fantastic nose art as seen on this model. The aggressive green dragon with shark teeth makes this a very desirable piece.
The scale is 1:48, the model comes in the original window box and has never been displayed or otherwise used.
An absolute standout for the display cabinet that you rarely encounter in this condition.
Due to its weight (3 kg) and the fragility, pickup is preferred, but shipping is possible at the buyer's risk and expense. Of course, the model will be packed very carefully and securely.
The window box measures 54 x 37 x 18 cm and weighs almost 3 kg; with packaging and outer carton, the weight increases further. Please account for potential shipping costs.
