Description from the seller
Elegant enameled ceramic terrine depicting a wild boar, finished in beautiful ochre and brown tones that highlight the relief and modeling of the animal.
The piece stands out for its sculptural character and warm aesthetics, evoking traditional French table arts.
Either decorative or functional, it is perfectly suited for serving terrines, pâtés, rillettes or homemade preparations.
It is accompanied by a superb rectangular porcelain platter by Nymphenburg, stamped on the base, notably bearing reference 1224. The decor depicts a boar in motion in a natural landscape, treated with finesse in brown and vegetal tones, accentuated by a delicate green edge along the rim.
The high quality of the white porcelain, the precision of the decor and the reputation of the Nymphenburg manufactory give the platter a particularly refined presence and make it a very beautiful complement to the terrine.
The platter is signed Nymphenburg, prestigious Bavarian porcelain manufactory founded in 1747, worldwide renowned for the excellence of its artisanal know-how and the quality of its painted décors.
A harmonious and characterful set, ideal for a festive table, an elegant interior or a collection devoted to the arts of the table and animal decor.
Its length is 16.5 cm, its width 12.5 cm, as well as its height 15 cm. The platter length is 23.5 cm, width 10.5 cm.
