Pair of French armchairs in carved mahogany - Louis XV style, 20th century.

Pair of French armchairs from the 20th century, of Louis XV style, in framed and carved mahogany wood, with backrests, arm supports and upholstered seats.

Backrests long, with a wavy top edge, covered in light blue fabric with a cream-toned diamond pattern. Curved arms with padded supports, sustained by molded uprights ending in volutes.

Seats wide with loose cushions, on a waist cut and carved with vegetal motifs and a central shell. They sit on four curved legs, with relief decoration and molded feet. Upholstery extends to the back, allowing placement of the pieces in the center of a room. Finish of the upholstery with decorative piping and trim.
