Mitterteich - Coffee service (27) - Porcelain

Refined and prestigious vintage coffee service in fine German porcelain, entirely crafted by the renowned Mitterteich Bavaria manufactory. Thanks to the green mark stamped on the bottom of each piece (Crown above the “M” and the word Bavaria), the set can be accurately dated to the golden era of production between 1931 and 1945.

The service stands out for its elegant ivory/cream body, adorned with a very rich and elaborate gold filigree. The rims of the cups and saucers feature embossed floral decorative motifs in a distinctly Art Deco taste, capable of imparting great brilliance and importance to the table.

The lot is exceptionally numerous and consists of a total of 27 pieces complete with every accessory:
• 1 large coffee pot with coordinated lid.
• 1 sugar bowl with double handles and coordinated lid
• 1 milk jug / creamer
• 12 coffee cups
• 12 coordinated saucers

The service presents itself in generally good condition considering its age (about 80-90 years of history). The porcelains are intact, free of cracks or chipping. The relief gilding is vivid and bright, with normal signs of time due to age that attest to its authenticity.

See photos for the conditions and measurements of all pieces.

The lot will be carefully packed and shipped in a reinforced polystyrene box.
