Side table - Wood, Marquetry

Elegant living room or smoking table with an octagonal-shaped top, finely decorated with the famous wood inlay technique in the style of the Sorrento tradition.
The top features at the center a suggestive circular medallion that depicts a classical scene with a chariot drawn by a running figure. The entire upper surface is enriched by a rich peripheral frame with phytomorphic motifs, volutes and sinuous leaves inlaid with lighter woods for contrast.
The table rests on tapered legs that fit directly under the edge of the top, ensuring a slender yet stable design. The current structure presents the legs firmly fixed to the case.
A decorative piece with great retro charm, ideal as an accent element for classical or eclectic living rooms.
