Table/desk clock - Brass - 1960-1970

Rare Rococo-style zodiac table clock, an exceptionally fine artistic piece with a mechanical chiming movement, dating from the 1960s–70s. A luxury Mid-Century Modern/Vintage creation in the Rococo/Venetian Baroque style, designed to make an impressive statement. Made of solid, heavily gilded bronze and brass, with hand-painted enamel inlays! In perfect working order and complete with its original winding key. The true stylistic touch of class is found on the sides of the case: two glossy black enamel bands, decorated with hand-painted bouquets of roses and floral motifs. The dial is made of pristine white enamel with black Roman numerals, and features each corresponding zodiac sign, hand-painted beside its hour marker; the center is made of bronze.
