Wall shelf bracket - Wood, Gesso

A 19th century gilt wooden wall console, measuring circa 11,7cm in width and weighing 206g, with gesso gilt ornamentation. After some consideration we have figured out why the chalice is upside down: The piece is actually a re-purposed stand for a cross, turned over and made into a wall console (!)

Condition: Overall good, restoration to the lower tip, no further significant damages or repairs.
