This 536 g rough siderite specimen with aragonite on hematite comes from the Brosso Mine in Valchiusella, Ivrea, Italy.
Description from the seller
Sample: Siderite and Aragonite on Hematite from Brosso
• Description of the specimen: An extraordinary and aesthetically striking large druse dominated by a very rich and elegant proliferation of tabular and lenticular siderite crystals, arranged in characteristic "rosette" and "crest" structures, with a warm brown-orange and golden surface coloration. Adorning the specimen are scattered tufts and microscopic globular aggregates of white-candida aragonite in perfect color contrast, all firmly anchored to a massive and glossy basal matrix of micaceous hematite and dark steel-gray specular.
• Brief locality description: Historic and renowned mining deposit in Valchiusella, located in the municipality of Brosso, near Ivrea (Turin), famous since ancient times for its hydrothermal skarn veins rich in spectacular iron oxides and carbonates highly sought by collectors.
• Crystal therapy: This exceptional mineral association blends the protective and grounding properties of hematite with the stabilizing properties of siderite; it is used to stimulate inner strength, align the root chakra, absorb emotional tensions, increase patience, and foster a deep sense of grounding and stability during periods of strong change.
