Wall lamp - Glass, Metal

A wall lamp (sconce) of pure Italian postmodern design, produced between the late 1970s and early 1980s by G2 Vetri, a historic high-end Murano glass brand that later became part of the prestigious Vistosi group. The piece takes the form of a true fan-shaped light sculpture, distinguished by a refined combination of color and materials. The large front diffuser is made of fine white cased glass with an opalescent effect, designed to cast a warm, atmospheric glow. At the back, a second sculptural element in cobalt-blue blown artistic glass creates a magnificent visual contrast, with translucent details along the lamp’s lower edges. The supporting structure is made of black-painted metal.
