Splendid and emblematic exemplar of the famous lever espresso coffee machine "La Peppina", produced in Milan by the historic FE-AR workshop around the late 1960s to early 1970s. This model represents a fundamental piece of coffee history and an authentic icon of mid-century modern design and Made in Italy industrial design. La Peppina stands out from traditional contemporaneous machines for a unique engineering concept: the upper boiler is open and operates without being under pressure, eliminating the risk of water overheating. The espresso extraction takes place thanks to a powerful internal spring actuated by the rear lever, ensuring a constant pressure and an optimal flow profile.
Aesthetic and preservation conditions:
The item presents excellent vintage preservation conditions, structurally solid and with a beautiful body in the vibrant original ochre yellow color.
The true rarity of this lot lies in the condition of the inside of the enameled boiler: the original white enamel is glossy, intact, and extraordinarily free of rust or chips on the bottom (the most common and critical defect found on this model).
