Three Ornate Silver Bowls – Floral Repoussé Decoration – 818 g, probably made in the USA

A beautifully decorated collection of three silver bowls, comprising two larger matching examples and one smaller coordinating bowl.

The bowls feature exceptionally attractive floral and scrolling ornamental decoration, with richly embossed interiors, polished silver surfaces and finely detailed beaded borders.

The two larger bowls are further enhanced by distinctive raised Gothic-style monogram motifs on their exteriors.

Provenance

These bowls were discovered as part of a private Chinese household collection, stored together inside a silver trunk containing numerous other silver objects.

The collection’s household provenance is reported by the current owner. The precise country of manufacture, maker and age have not yet been established.
