Description from the seller
OLYMPUS Pen EE was the first automatic camera in the Pen line to be launched in 1961 for a point‑and‑shoot audience and it launched a completely new line for Pen cameras. It was one of the first half‑frame cameras ever made and it endured for many years with a multitude of series and different versions.
With a fixed 28 mm f/3.5 lens, it is fairly wide and has a moderate aperture, but given the nature of a half‑frame camera, it feels roughly like a 50 mm lens.
An interesting feature, present on most pen cameras, is that when it is too dark for an exposure, an alarm indicator appears in the viewfinder that prevents taking a photo.
Specifications and features:
Shutter speed - 1/30 or 1/250 of a second
Aperture - automatic, from f/3.5 to f/22
Metering type - selenium cell
Shutter - leaf shutter type
ASA - from 10 to 200
Lens - D Zuiko 28mm, 4 elements, fixed focus
Flash option - PC port with cold shoe
Batteries - none
Film type - 35 mm
Other notable features - manual frame advance counter, cable release socket
This camera is valuable to collectors above all. It has not been tested for functionality. Its age must be kept in mind.
