Description from the seller
JVC JL-A1 semi-automatic belt-drive turntable
Manufactured by Victor Company of Japan LTD. Tokyo, Japan (JVC)
Semi-automatic means that the tonearm automatically returns to its resting position at the end of the record, and the turntable switches off.
Rare, excellent and stable JVC turntable, in top condition.
Beautiful vintage looks, with a sprung metal chassis and wooden plinth, combined with the smoke-colored dust cover.
Fully cleaned and lubricated, with the speed readjusted to factory specifications.
The turntable has been extensively tested and works very well, including the auto-return function.
Beautiful, clear dust cover with no damage; it has been polished again.
Only very minor signs of use.
This is a rare, exceptionally well-preserved example!
The hinges are still in good condition and the mounting tabs are intact; the cover stays nicely open as it should.
Plays smoothly and consistently, and sounds fantastic.
Statically balanced S-shaped tonearm. Fitted with the original JVC headshell and an Audio Technica cartridge with a good stylus.
The turntable comes with a 45 RPM adapter for singles.
Please take a look at the detailed photos; they form part of the item description.
(The LP shown in the photos is not included in the purchase.)
The turntable will be carefully and properly packed and shipped insured, including track and trace.
(Tonearm secured, transport screws fitted and platter packed separately. Everything will be packed in bubble wrap and soft foam.)
