Ashtray – 800 Silver, Hand-Cut Crystal – Italy, Second Half of the 20th Century

Large, heavy ashtray in hand-cut crystal, with an 800 silver rim decorated with an engraved band of palmettes and scrolls against a satin-finished ground. Three silver cigar rests, one of which is hallmarked. The crystal features elaborate star, diamond-point and checkered cuts. A large petal rosette is engraved on the base.
