Limoges - Serving dish (9) - Porcelain

Set of 7 antique serving pieces.
It is quite common for antique pieces to have no maker’s mark; this often means they were made by a secondary manufacturer to be hand-painted, in Limoges or Foëcy. The style is typical of Art Deco or retro porcelain from the 1920s, with a decoration of roses and violets, green accents, and gold-leaf edging.
Here is the set’s composition:
1 large tureen, H 25 cm, with lid, D 22.5 cm.
1 covered vegetable dish, H 20 cm, with lid, D 20.5 cm.
3 compotes, H 13 cm, H 10 cm, H 10 cm; D 24 cm, 22.5 cm and 22 cm.
1 round platter, D 28 cm, H 5 cm.
1 oval platter, L 37 cm, W 25 cm, H 5 cm; some of the gilding is missing, as you would expect with age.
The pieces are about a hundred years old, with no cracks or chips. Please view the photos for more details.
