Restored Citroën Mehari Azur from 1983, in perfect condition.

In 1983 Citroën launched a limited series of 700 units of the well-known Mehari with the name of Azur. Its main features are the white bodywork and blue doors. Additionally, the car bonnet was decorated with blue stripes matching with the blue and white seats. 

The rims are also characteristic of this version, with long holes and white colour. The hood is another of its special features. It is articulated both at the front and at the back, allowing the passengers to open it partially if they wish to. That wasn’t possible in the other versions. 

This unit in particular has undergone a complete restoration, during which it has been completely stripped down. The odometer reading is 45 000 km, non-verifiable. The chassis has been sanded and totally painted. No other works were necessary, since it was in very good condition and had no dents. This is common in these cars (see photos 133-146, please).

The engine has been completely checked. It works perfectly and very powerfully. The bodywork has been completely replaced for a newly manufactured one. Additionally, seats, wheels, petrol tank, awning, etc. have been replaced for new components.

The car is in Barcelona, Spain.
