This discus was used during the Olympic Summer Games of the XV Olympiad in 1952 which was held in Helsinki, Finland. Unfortunately, there is no document available to proof this, this information comes from the person I obtained it from. The discus was produced by "Sportarticles Co Ltd Helsinki" with the image of a Greek modern sports figure and the text " Urheilutarpeita "(which stands for the need for sports). The discus sits on a handmade stand which is included.
