Jaguar - E-Type V12 Series 3 - 1972

Jaguar E-type series III, year of manufacture 1972 The series 3 was produced between 1971 and 1974. In total, there were 7297 copies built of this OTS (Open two-seater). The V12 engine with 5.3 litre has a power of 272 HP. This convertible was built on the extended chassis of the 2 + 2 and had various improvements over the series 1 and 2. The car had a much better road handling, better brakes and standard power steering. Of course, by the V12 engine it has much more power, which gave the car a status of super sports car. It was this car that Enzo Ferrari gave the title "most beautiful sports car ever built". The here offered car was delivered new in the USA in 1972 to the first owner in Greenwich, Connecticut. He had the car in his possession for 20 years, after which the current owner brought the car to the Netherlands in 1992. The entire history is present with the car, including many documents and invoices from all these years. Recently, in April and May of this year for approximately 4000 euros in improvements were carried out. The car has a mileage of approx. 57,000 miles. This Jaguar is in very good condition and has always been very well-maintained by Jaguar specialists. The colour is British Racing Green, and only once repainted in that original colour. The interior is equipped with camel-coloured leather. Everything was recently checked, and also the air conditioning works perfectly. The car is completely stainless with very nice and intact chrome work. The engine has a very good oil pressure, even when the engine is warm. In combination with the 4-speed gearbox it is a joy to drive this fantastic car. It is not for nothing called an icon of the British car industry. If you want to do a sound investment: it is with this Jaguar. The car has a technical approval until April 2019 (Dutch Periodic Vehicle Inspection) and is exempt from road tax in the Netherlands. The necessary export document is included for delivery abroad. Transport is possible in consultation. It is recommended to view the car before you bid. The car is in Valkenswaard, Netherlands.
