A print of Max Nimoy (1901-1987) from 1923 and printed according to the pochoir technique. This was a very labour-intensive, and thus precious, reproduction technique. In the first half of the 20th century, Paris was the centre of pochoir printing with many workshops where sometimes up to 600 people worked. Many famous artists of that time applied that technique to their work. Max Nimoy originally comes from the Ukraine and emigrated with his parents to the United States in 1913. The print is in a good condition. There’s a small indentation at the bottom left (see picture 4). The framework is not acid-proof paper and can naturally be replaced. 
Beautifully framed and behind glass. The dimensions are: height = 43 cm and width = 32 cm. The weight = 900 grams. 
This lot will be carefully packaged and sent registered and insured.
