The intricate world of cameras brought to you by {name}

Edwin Molenaar

 Mir-1A 2,8/37mm , don't confuse it with the ordinary Mir-1 or Mir-1B. This version was produced at ZOMZ, Zagorsk, Russia in limited quantities. There is not much information about this lens in the Internet. Based on the available photos I can assume that about 2700 of them were produced in 1972, about 2300 in 1973 and very few in 1974, so a bit more than 5000 in total. The index 'A' means that it is designed to be used on different cameras with interchangeable adapters. Here the adapters are not included.
It is sharper than an ordinary Mir-1, the improved colour presentation and the minimal focusing distance is much shorter, 24 cm. It has an original star-forming aperture with presetting.

The lens is like new, has no scratches, fungus, oil or other defects. The box and cap are not original. The test photos were taken with a digital APS-C camera
