This manuscript leaf is from a late 14th-century folio. 
The date is determined by, among others, the floral decorations and the extraordinary high quality of the impressive decorated initials. 
Origin: the Netherlands. Text is written in Latin.
Manuscripts from this early period are extremely rare.

Religious text. Text fragments include: 'Herdodis regis' en Angeli' 'romanos'  'S matheum' 'S Lucam'  'synagogis' 'frater jacobi  et joseph'.   

The manuscript is written on vellum with eight blue and red painted initials. This is an original 14th-century piece. Dimensions: 22 x 32 cm. 

Condition: although this item is more than 600 years old and some signs of age are visible, the text is very well preserved. With a pre-1600 handwriting on the verso. See the pictures of this leaf.
