This binocular stereo microscope, (No. 723285), watchmaker-microscope is produced by LOMO, Leningrad, USSR, first half of the 70s.  It is of the same rock-solid heavy quality (cast iron/brass) and with the same excellent optical properties, like the well-known MBS 9/10/11/12 series, all made in the Zeiss factories confiscated after World War II. 
 A head with fixed lenses (achromats) of 0.7X and bright WF-eyepieces (with fixed eye-shells) of 12.5 x 15 result in a magnification of nearly 8.75 x. Greater magnification possible by placing stronger eyepieces with an insert of 30 mm. These are easily available on the internet, both new and used, for little money. The pupil distance is spaciously adjustable and the dioptres can be adjusted on the left and right. 
 Very suitable for looking at e.g. stamps, coins, minerals, insects and/or fine-assembly...
 The binocular is completely overhauled, all fats are replaced, moving functions run smoothly and without play The scoop is in very good condition, has very little wear (some very slight damage to the varnish). The optics are clean, no scratches or fungus.  
 The microscope is easy-to-use by a double set of buttons, a clamp screw on the column and immediately ready for use.  Larger objects also fit below the lenses 
 The height is 27 cm, the width is 15 cm and the depth 16.5 cm, weight is 2.25 kg (incl. box 4.5 kg.).
 Comes with a neat wooden box with bracket closures a print of an English-language manual.
 Lighting is not provided, but e.g. a dimmable, led desk lamp is ideal.
 The photomicrographs of three micromounts (included) have been made with it, with a digital usb eyepiece (not included) and striking outdoor light. 
 Shipping: properly packaged, always with track and trace code.
