Visibly old-fashioned and original Omega men's watch with calendar from the post-war years.  1950.
The dial indicates 'Omega – Automatic – Genève – calendar'.
Case material: steel.
Watch case material: approx. 4 cm.
Watch strap material: stainless steel.  
On the clasp of the strap is inscribed: 'stainless steel – Expandro – made in W-Germany – Patend'.
Some links of the strap show: 'Kurzen – Shorten'.
Full length of the watch and strap: approx. 18.3 cm.
Width of the strap: approx. 1.2 cm.

I've shown the watch to a watch maker, who told me the following: 
– it is a collector's object 
– I'm not allowed to polish it in order to retain its originality  
– that the inside still looks very good 
– tha the winding screw is a bid rigid  

The watch works and the second hand makes its rounds.
