The Technics SL-D2 is a very solid record player with an excellent performance that you can enjoy for years to come.

As you can see on the pictures, this item is in very good condition.
The player only has some light signs of use.
The dust cover is also still in very beautiful condition and only has some light scratches. The notches that fall in the hinges are also still in very good condition.

Comes with the excellent Technics 270C cartridge and new needle.
The adapter for 45 rpm singles is included.


With the famous quick starting Direct Drive system by Technics, in which the spinning plateau is a part of the motor.
Advantage of this is that it is maintenance free and you will never have to replace a belt.

The interior has been fully cleaned and re-lubricated.
The spindle received a few drops of original Technics oil.

The SL-D2 record player has similarities to the famous SL-1200. This player has the same strong dd motor and an arm with bearings in 4 places with aluminium bearing blocks. The player has servo-controlled speed and is very accurate.

The SL-D2 is a semi-automatic: you move the arm above the record and the platter automatically starts. The arm automatically returns at the end of the record and the platter stops.

Exchangeable cartridge holder (head shell).

Platter with strobe to fine-tune the speed.

Pitch control with 10% +/- speed.
Aluminium platter.

The chassis is on 4 vibration-damping feet.
