Very rare and out of print book by the Japanese photographer Daikichi Amano. He explores the gruesome connection between Japan's metaphorical and literal consumption of both the female form and creatures of the sea. His photographs sometimes look like the surrealist paintings of the Swiss artist H.R. Giger; horror, pornography and art form a perfect match.

Daikichi Amano was born in Japan in 1973. He has had a fascination for women and the octopus from his youth. He is inspired by the Dutch still life painters, as well as Japanese mythology and the great masters of the woodcut of the Ukiyo-E of the Edo period, in particular the erotic Shunga prints. He has held several exhibitions in, among other places, the Mondo Bizarre in Rome.
