The camera has an interchangeable finder and instant return mirror, a focal plane shutter with speeds 1/30-1/1000. This camera is fit with a waist-level finder with optional loupe. It can be replaced by a prism finder (not included). This model is equipped with internal automatic aperture actuation. The camera has a 42mm (Praktica/Pentax) screw mount and can therefore be fitted with an enormous variety of lenses. 
The lens on this camera is an Edixa-Auto-Cassaron 1:2.8 50mm built by Steinheil, München. The Culminar has an automatic diaphragm that stays open until the photo is taken. 

The camera has traces of use, but cosmetically and functionally is still in great shape. All shutter speeds sound correct, but have not been tested. The curtains have no wrinkles or holes and run evenly. Film transport is easy.
The lens' diaphragm blades are clean, without traces of oil. The front and rear lenses have no scratches or cleaning marks, but some internal haze or dust is visible. Both aperture and focus rings turn even and easily.

The camera is offered with a set of 42mm screw mount extension tubes for close-up photography.
