Tremendous sculpture depicting a face in Vicenza stone. Named ‘L’urlo’, it is a work of sublime quality and workmanship, which transmits a power out of the ordinary. 
It seems almost realistic, thanks to its impressive precision and attention to details (see teeth, eyebrow arch, cheekbones, nose and eyes).
Part of a collection of 8 faces in total, which used to furnish the interior of a Venetian villa. 
A sculpture undoubtedly performed by one of the greatest masters of the period, you won’t find many of such value. Dating: 19th century.
Size is not excessive, weight is contained. 
Exclusive, one of a kind item.
Outstanding and captivating if hung on a wall.
In very good overall condition, intact.
