Baroque musette or "Musette de cour" after an anonymus French instrument of the 18th century, made in 1998 by Paul Beekhuizen, The Hague, The Netherlands; Made in ebony; Silver keys and imitation ivory; New bag and re-reeded by the maker in 2020; In a mint and a good playable condition; Made in the old pitch of a'= 392 Hz (f'= 440). When playing with modern tuned instruments: the musette plays in G, the other instruments transpose to F; The large chanter ("Grand chalumeau") plays one octave plus an extra high note: (f'/fis')g' - g"" (chromatic scale, 6 keys); The small chanter ("Petit chalumeau") adds six semitones: amoll'' - d''' (6 keys); Comes with the original bellows and a "soufflet plié" made by Nicolas Rouzier. Spare reeds and a case are included.
