Very lifelike and detailed sculpture of two fighting hares, estimated to be 10–15 years old.

These hares are designed and made for and by the Lesser & Pavey company (England). They are made of a composite material - probably a polyresin - and were finished and coloured by hand, with a layer containing bronze powder. This type of sculpture is therefore called a "cold cast bronze".

The hares are mounted on a teak plateau of approx. 19 x 25 cm and 2 cm high. The hare sculpture is 27 cm in height, so the item is 29 cm high in total. 

We have bought this sculpture from an English trader, who also supplied us with the information about its origin. It seems very plausible that this information is accurate, considering the kind of statues this manufacturer (Lesser & Pavey) makes. 

The sculpture is in excellent condition, like new.

This sculpture will be packaged well protected before shipping. Furthermore, they will be shipped with transport insurance.
