Absolute beast of a CD player, everything you touch on this machine feels more like it was designed to survive a war rather than for just playing high end audio, this 12kg machine definitely remains one of the best CD players ever made by Yamaha! 

It already starts when you turn the machine on, the clear multicoloured display with loads of info, the rock solid tray and loading mechanism, the hidden control panel which smoothly fold out, everything just feels great about this player.

Under the hood:
A high-Bit system combining a 20-bit 8x oversampling digital filter and 22-bit operation four-DAC system.

D/A separate power supply unit with a large two-transformer configuration.

Because of this it is able to achieve high resolution of 8x in the time axis and 16x in the amplitude axis with a high S/N ratio reaching 120dB. 

Player is fully functional & all belts were replaced!
