A beautiful chess game for collectors and chess lovers. At that time you could only order it directly from the Waterloo Museum.
The game is in very good and neat condition. 
Please take a look at the numerous accompanying photos. They will show the good condition of the offered item best. 
The chess game consists of 32 authentic portrait sculptures of the heroes of the battle of Waterloo.
Each piece has been carefully designed and cast into fine tin, resulting in very heavy pieces that feel nicely in your hand.
Each piece is enamelled and was designed by Philip J. Haythornthwaite, and has been carefully manufactured in well-known high quality by Franklin Mint.
Each figure comes with a certificate of authenticity with background information. There are also numerous details about the battle itself and the troops of the enemy in the enclosed brochures.

Size chessboard 34 x 34 cm, king and queen approx. 5 cm, remaining figures approx. 4 cm. 
A small rubber foot is missing on the back of the chess cassette. Can certainly easily be replaced.

Insured shipping with tracking number. It will of course be carefully packaged.
