Really a sublime amplifier from 1980 in good condition.
Look at the possibilities.
Very extensive tone controls by having 2 tilt frequencies, low and high filters and switchable tone control for a cleaner sound.
Also, 2 phono jacks! And 2 tape jacks cinch and 1 with din connection.
Also a preamp as well as a power amplifier in and output.
Also connections for 2 pairs of speakers of course.
Device is neat and shows very little traces of use which are not disturbing.
This amplifier delivers an impressive amount of power and is very dynamic.

The most special part of this amplifier is the power amplifier. Unlike conventional amplifiers, this is equipped with VFet power devices which were specially developed by Sony. These VFets have a transfer characteristic which strongly resembles that of a radio tube. The ‘sound’ of this amplifier therefore has strong similarities to that of a tube amplifier. Incidentally, without the disadvantages associated with those, like a high distortion because of the necessary output transformer.
