Jean-François Ber

Designed by Jeff Gillette as the official poster for Banksy's famous Dismaland Exhibition held in 2015.

Gillette produced a show in 2010 called ‘Dismayland’ which became the inspiration for Banksy’s bemusement park ‘Dismaland’ in 2015 - which he was invited by Banksy to exhibit at.

Gillette's satirical paintings merge icons of western capitalism with barren landscapes of third world shanty towns, showing the hypocrisy of current globalism.

The poster shows cheery Minnie Mouse waving from a crumbling billboard amongst an apocalyptic landscape. The word ‘Dismaland’ resembles the Disney logo to emphasise the print’s dark humour.

Condition : Very good, stored flat, never framed.

Shipping: Worldwide shipping. Royal Mail Special Delivery in the UK, or Royal Mail International signed for airmail for overseas.
