The iconic Status Series from Luxman has produced some of the nicest amplifiers ever made.
The offered L-525 is a late model from this series and has, just like the other one, the Dual Bêta Circuit which works in Class-A up to living room volume.
Due to the advent of the CD with a higher dynamic range than was held possible before, new demands were made on the amplifier technology.
Luxman gives the L-525 a huge 230 watts of “High Dynamic Power”.

The L-525 offered here is in original condition, except for the wood case that has been treated with natural lacquer so the colour is slightly more yellow than the original one.
It also needs to be mentioned that the flickering LED of the otherwise well-working switch-on delay does not blink.
